Museum Admission

Admission to the Beatty Museum and Historical Society is free of charge. Donation are welcome and appreciated.

Parking

Ample free parking for cars, trucks, RV’s and busses.

Driving Directions

From Las Vegas, take US 95 north 115 miles to Beatty, Nevada. At the four-way stop sign turn left (NV Highway 375) on Main Street. Go about 2-1/2 blocks. Located on the left at 417 Main Street in an old church building.

From Furnace Creek, Death Valley take SR 190 north for 11 miles. Turn right and go another 9 miles to Hell's Gate. From Stovepile Wells, Death Valley, take SR 190 south (east) 7 miles. Turn left on to the Scotty's Castle road and go 1/2 mile to the Beatty road. About 6.5 miles you will come to Hell's Gate. From Hell's Gate, it is about 19 miles to Beatty. After arriving in Beatty you will shortly see the building on the right.

From Tonopah and points north, take US 95 south to Beatty. Proceed straight ahead at the four-way stop sign. Go about 2-1/2 blocks. Located on the left at 417 Main Street in an old church building.

Visitor Notes

Mobility Impairments: The museum is accessible by wheelchair and has passenger loading zones. All of the museum's inside exhibitions are accessible by wheelchair.

Service Animals: Service animals are welcome in the museum.
